Who is ShiftRate for?+
ShiftRate is built for independent gig drivers who want a clearer view of earnings, time, mileage, goals, and operating costs.
Is ShiftRate affiliated with delivery platforms?+
No. ShiftRate is an independent tracking tool and is not affiliated with DoorDash, Uber, Instacart, Spark, or other delivery platforms.
How are earnings entered?+
Enter orders in the app or use Apple Shortcuts. Pro also adds screenshot-based OCR shortcuts for supported DoorDash screens.
How does GPS work?+
With GPS enabled, ShiftRate estimates mileage during active orders. It stores the resulting distance, not your raw latitude and longitude history. GPS can be disabled in app or iOS settings.
What happens to OCR screenshots?+
Apple Vision recognizes screenshot text on your device. ShiftRate does not currently upload OCR screenshots or recognized text to its servers.
What is included in Free and Pro?+
Free includes main views, manual tracking and shortcuts, goals, insights, vehicle tools, and manual mileage. Pro adds OCR shortcuts, automatic GPS active-order mileage, and driver analytics.
Can I delete my account?+
Yes. In the app, open Settings, Account, then Delete Account. Confirming permanently deletes the account and its synchronized ShiftRate data.
